I've been doing similarly! That was why my reply was so late. Reading up in the library with so many new topics is quite dangerous to your sense of time.

Where I'm from, learning magic requires an inborn talent first. It may be different here or if it exists somewhere in your own world.

I have some capacity for using mana as a Servant, but mostly only for skills that were granted exaggerated effect upon my manifestation.

Unfortunately, you would be better seeking out a Caster or some other mage for lessons.

Yes, I'm only still adjusting to modern technology but it's incredibly simple to someone with my mind! I'm disappointed that my first real chance to stretch those muscles have been constricted by the mixture.

I see quite well what you're trying to do, Hal! Unfortunately, magecraft itself is simply outside my capability as a Servant of the Archer class. If I'm able to interact with the magic of this world at all, it will surely take much more research first!

That wouldn't be very productive. Like I said, it's not surprising. I believe those waters may have had more to them than I anticipated, and I said more than I meant to. That you would follow up on it is natural!
